Yesterday my day went from stressful to free within the space of about 20 minutes, so I decided to spend it semi-wisely. I went to the V&A museum, a favourite of mine, and saw the exhibition on Yoji Yamamoto. I was expecting more; probably because of the relentlessness of the adverts for the exhibition on the tube, and I just didn't think the quantity was there, for the retrospective of his work that I expected. I really love the red dress above (which was on display) and that was a highlight. His emphasis on fabric; describing it as "everything" was plain to see. A worthwhile trip, but not jaw-dropping.
